POR:TA TALK #2 Art in Focus - Women Unframed pulls the lens wide to examine where women have stood in the art world, where we are now, and what the future could look like. As artists, advisors, institutions, and cultural voices, we’ll ask: what’s evolved, what remains stuck, and what needs to be broken open?
This is not about polite commentary — it’s about power, visibility, influence, equity, and imagining how women in art can move beyond the frame into something bolder, freer, and more true.
Our expert panel — Ana Botella, Evy Jokhova and Rita Almeida Freitas — joined by moderator Taiye Selasi, will bring unique insight to explore shifting attitudes toward female artists, how institutions and collectors are re-evaluating women’s contributions, and the ongoing challenges and visions shaping the future of women in art.
